A native of Hamburg, Germany, Karin Batten holds degrees in fine at from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London) and Hunter College (New York), and studied with prominent artists including Henry Moore and Robert Morris. She has exhibited with June Kelly Gallery since 1988, and is the recipient of a number of grants and residencies.
